How do I make a purchase and checkout online?

Shopping with Southern Tool + Equipment Co. is simple. Once you have found the attachment you wish to purchase click on “BUY NOW”.

You will be asked to choose whether you want to pick up the item from our Brisbane, Queensland warehouse or have the item delivered. If you choose delivery you will enter your postcode and the freight cost will then be calculated dynamically from our network of freight services. The freight cost will then appear in your order subtotal.

You can add other attachments to your cart if necessary. When you have finished, click on your cart and select how you wish to checkout. You can login if you have purchased from us before, create a new account or use the express Paypal checkout if you wish to pay using your Paypal account. Please note, you can change your order to collect or delivery at the checkout stage.

I've forgotten my password for my account, what can I do?

Go to My Account at the top right of the website. Click on ‘forgot your password’ and enter your email address. We will then send an email to you with your password details.

How can I find out about products that are not on your website?

Our product range is much larger than what we advertise online. Please feel free to contact us directly by phone on 1800 074 466 or email sales@southerntool.com.au for any custom attachment quotes or inquiries you have.

I have made a mistake on my order, how can I cancel it?

Contact us immediately by phone or email. If your order has not been processed then we will endeavor to cancel it. Otherwise please refer to our Returns Policy

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?

We photograph all orders prior to dispatch from our warehouse. In the unlikely event that your order has been damaged in transit, please contact us and we will review pre-dispatch photographs and resolve the issue with the transport company as soon as possible.

Where in Australia do you deliver to?

We deliver Australia wide including regional areas, Tasmania, Western Australia etc. Freight services available provide the option for direct to business/residence delivery, or pick up from your nearest transport depot. At the time of your order please specify the transport method required. Note: it is the purchasers responsibility to have a means of unloading package at delivery point

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

Yes, however we only deliver to PO Boxes for small orders less than 5kg.

How much do you charge for freight?

Freight costs are dynamically calculated depending on the delivery postcode and the weight and dimensions of the attachments you place in your basket. We use a combination of different freight companies in order to provide you with a fast and affordable service. You can also opt to arrange your own freight, or to collect from our Brisbane warehouse free of charge.

When you place an attachment in your cart you will need to choose either delivery or collection from our warehouse. If you opt for delivery the freight cost will then be added to the subtotal. If you choose to collect from our warehouse you will need to bring a copy of your order confirmation when picking up.

How can I track the status and freight of my order?

When your order is dispatched you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details. The tracking number for your order is detailed in the email along with the tracking link. Click the link and enter the tracking number into the carrier website to obtain the tracking information.

When can I expect to receive my order?

All orders are dispatched within 24-48 hours. Delivery time frames will then depend on your location. This information is enclosed in the tracking information that you receive on the confirmation of your order.

What if I'm not there when the freight company arrives to deliver?

Your local freight sub-contractor will give you a call the day of delivery to schedule a time that suits you. If you can’t have your attachments delivered that day, they can arrange re-delivery for a more convenient day. Pick up from the local depot is also available.

I still haven't received my order despite receiving a dispatch email, what should I do?

Please refer to the tracing information on your dispatch email. Click the tracking link and enter the tracking details into the freight carrier’s website. If you cannot locate your tracking information or you still have a question please contact us by phone or email and we will resolve the issue

Can you deliver to an address that is different to my billing address?

Yes. When you place your order you will have the option of putting an alternative delivery address in.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Paypal.

When will you debit my account?

We will debit your account when you place your order.

Can I get an invoice for my order?

Your order confirmation email is a tax invoice.
